These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases, access and use of the website www.ihaarastudio.com (“Website”), owned and operated by Ihaara Studio, a sole-owned business of Mrs. Rakshitha Chethan, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

By accessing or placing an order on the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website immediately.

2. Product Information & Pricing

  • We make every effort to accurately display saree colours, features, pricing and details.
  • However, slight colour and pattern variations may occur due to screen settings and photography lighting.
  • All prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
  • Prices are inclusive/exclusive of taxes as specified at checkout.

Ihaara Studio reserves the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time.

3. Order Acceptance & Confirmation

  • Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance.
  • An order is considered confirmed only after:
    1. Successful payment (for prepaid orders), and
    2. You receive the official order confirmation via:
      • Email, and/or
      • WhatsApp message
  • Orders may be cancelled or rejected if:
    • Product is out of stock
    • Incorrect pricing/listing error occurred
    • Fraudulent or suspicious activity detected
    • Delivery area is unsupported by our courier partners

In such cases, prepaid amounts will be fully refunded.

4. Payment & COD Policy

  • We accept Online Prepaid and Cash on Delivery (COD) where available.
  • COD service availability depends on courier support for your PIN code.
  • COD orders may require address or phone verification.
  • Refusal of COD orders without valid reason may result in:
    • Disabling COD for future orders
    • Possible account blocking due to abuse of service

5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk Transfer

  • After handing over the package to the courier partner, all transit delays, mishandling or loss are the courier’s responsibility.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • We are not liable for delays due to:
    • Courier operational issues
    • Weather/natural conditions
    • Local travel restrictions
  • You must provide complete and accurate shipping details.

If a courier returns a package due to incorrect/insufficient address or repeated failed delivery attempts, re-delivery charges may apply.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Our strict damage-only return policy applies.

Key points:

  • No exchange, return, cancellation or refund for:
    • Colour variation from photos
    • Change of mind or style preference
    • Incorrect assumptions about fabric feel
  • Damage claims require:
    • Open-Box Inspection where available OR
    • Mandatory unboxing video, sent within 6 hours of delivery
  • Refunds only after verification and receipt of the product in original condition.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Website including:

  • Product photographs
  • Videos
  • Descriptions, text and creative writing
  • Logos, brand name and layout

are exclusive intellectual property of Ihaara Studio.

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Downloading, copying, reproducing or redistributing content
  • Using Ihaara Studio imagery for reselling or commercial activity
  • Impersonating the brand or misusing logo/name in any context

Legal action may be taken against copyright infringement.

8. User Conduct & Website Misuse

Users must not:

  • Create fake/fraudulent orders
  • Manipulate payment systems or COD service
  • Post abusive, defamatory or hateful content
  • Attempt unauthorized access, hacking, scraping, or data extraction
  • Violate or attempt to bypass website security measures

Violation may lead to order cancellation, account restriction or legal prosecution.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Ihaara Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from product usage, late delivery, or external courier failures.

Your sole remedy for any issue with a product is limited to the applicable refund terms outlined in our Returns Policy.

10. Privacy & Data Usage

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how personal data is:

  • Processed
  • Stored
  • Used for order fulfillment, campaigns and communication

11. Age & Eligibility

  • Purchases can be made by individuals 18 years or older.
  • Minors may place orders only under supervision of a parent/guardian who agrees to these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and legal jurisdiction exclusively rests with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
